Lakeland Board of Directors Gets New Chairman

Darrell Howell is the new chair of Lakeland College’s Board of Directors. Howell was appointed to the position for a three-year term by the Ministry of Innovation. He has been a member of the board since 2012 and succeeds Milt Wakefield in the position. He says the priorities of the board include selecting a new president, infrastructure maintenance, and fiscal sustainability. Howell also says that he will ensure Lakeland remains a well-run and innovative institution.
