Two children are dead after a house fire near Loon Lake. Early Tuesday morning, Loon Lake RCMP responded to a fire on the Makwa Sahgeichan First Nation. When they arrived, the officers found the house completely engulfed in flames. Moments later, a man emerged from the house carrying an 18-month-old baby, and a 2-year-old child. Both children were pronounced dead at the scene. The RCMP are investigating the cause of the fire.
