Liberal Party Nominates Larry Ingram For Upcoming By-Election

UPDATE: The NDP has selected Matt Felder as their nominee for the Battlefords-Lloydminster by-election.

Larry Ingram will be the Liberal Party candidate for the upcoming Battlefords-Lloydminster by-election.

Ingram was born and raised in Turtleford. He is a former Municipal Councillor for the RM Mervin and was the Liberal candidate in Battlefords-Lloydminster for the 2015 election. He also is a former vice-chair for the North Central Transportation Planning Committee.

So far the Conservative Party is the only other party to have announced a candidate. Over the weekend, Rosemarie Falk was chosen to represent their party. The NDP and Green Party are expected to announce a candidate early this week.  The nomination process for candidates closes on Monday, November 20.

The by-election takes place on December 11.
