Two youth arrested for car theft in North Battleford

Two youth were arrested after an SUV was stolen from in Meadow Lake.

Police received the report Saturday and were told the vehicle was bound for North Battleford. Battlefords RCMP found the vehicle abandoned behind a business on the Highway 16 bypass. The two suspects fled on foot and were later located by the RCMP Police Dog Service.

The investigation is ongoing and charges are pending.
