One man is dead after being hit by a semi tractor trailer on Highway 16 east of North Battleford Friday.
Emergency crews were called to the scene, where the 22 year old pedestrian from Saskatoon was pronounced dead. Police say he was walking down the middle of the road dressed all in black when he was struck by the westbound tractor trailer.
The accident is not believed to be suspicious and the driver of the semi did not consume any alcohol.
