Multiple Collisions Due To Freezing Rain

RCMP in the Battlefords, Maidstone, and Saint Paul are currently responding to multiple collisions on roadways due to freezing rain. Highways 16, 303, 21, 17, as well as numerous grid roads have extremely icy conditions. Highway 303 is currently completely blocked by a semi-tractor trailer. It will be at least 1-2 hours before the roadway will be fully opened. There have been multiple collisions reported, including a single vehicle rollover near Lashburn and a two vehicle collision near Marshall. Police do not recommend travel at this time.
