RCMP driving blitz catches impaired drivers

Drunk drivers were caught by Saskatchewan RCMP after a nation-wide impaired driving blitz on March 22nd. There were check-stops at intersections across the country with the goal of reducing the number of impaired drivers on the roads. In Saskatchewan, 3,308 vehicles were stopped at check-stops,and 56 of those were impaired drivers. RCMP also handed out 45 roadside suspensions. RCMP say impaired driving enforcement is a top priority and everyone is encouraged to pull over and phone 911 if they suspect a drunk driver.
