City Hall invites residents to Pitch-in

The City of Lloydminster is inviting everyone to participate in Pitch-in Week.

The week begins on Monday, and the city says everyone can participate informally through cleaning up their own neighbourhoods, or through the city’s four scheduled events.

The city has organized a dog park cleanup on Sunday, April 26 a kickoff event at Rendell Park Elementary School on Monday, April 27, a household waste roundup at the Exh Grounds on Saturday, May 2, and a cleanup of Bud Miller Park as a wrap-up event on Sunday, May 3.

“Everyone can pitch-in to help make our community cleaner and greener,” said Karen Dela Rosa, General Manager of Waste Services. “We’d especially like to thank our community partners involved this year, including the First Baptist Church, SPCA, Coca’s Promise, Lloydminster Border Blades, Freeflow Skate Snow, Meridian Youth Soccer Association and Lloydminster Minor Ball Association.”
