Nominations open for best businesses in Lloydminster

The Lloydminster Chamber of Commerce is asking people to nominate the best businesses in the City.

Each year, businesses are recognized in various categories, including diversity, integrity, entrepreneurship and customer service. The Chamber also recognizes a business member with the Lifetime Achievement Award for their years of leadership in the business community.

Last year, the Business of the Year was the Lloydminster District and Co-op, which also won the Integrity Award. Meanwhile, Lakeland College received the 2017 Diversity Award.

Other awards being handed out this year include Small Business of the Year, Community Spirit Award, Downtown Business of the Year and Employer of the Year. The public can nominate a local business for 2018 Business Awards by filling out a form on the Chambers website. The deadline for nominations is June 30.
