Lloydminster man arrested in drug bust

Lloydminster RCMP have announced a major drug bust.

Late in the afternoon of Thursday, May 7, the RCMP arrested a man as part of a drug investigation, seizing half an ounce of crack cocaine, $1,200 in cash, and fentanyl pills.

The police then searched a home related to the investigation, finding 7 ounces of cocaine, crystal meth, marijuana, hash oil, and more pills believed to be fentanyl. They also found 2 loaded guns and around $30,000 in cash.

30-year-old Brian Galloway faces several charges, including possession for the purpose of trafficking, possession of property obtained by crime, and possession of a firearm while prohibited. He has been granted bail, and will reappear in court Tuesday, May 19.
