Students in Vegreville – Wainwright will have access to summer jobs with 68 organizations in the riding receivingover 420 thousand dollars in Canada Summer Jobs funding to hire 105 young Canadians. In 2014, the Canada Summer Jobs program is expected to help create about 35 thousand jobs, while helping employers address skills shortages. Since 2006, the Youth Employment Strategy has helped more than 555,000 young people develop skills, while benefiting the Canadian economy.
