A frost advisory has been issued for the Battlefords, Maidstone and Unity areas. Environment Canada says frost may damage some crops in the area.
A ridge of high pressure is building over the prairies bringing with it cold overnight lows Tuesday night. Overnight lows are expected to be between zero and -3 Celsius by Wednesday morning.
Environment Canada says frost advisories are issued when temperatures are expected to reach the freezing mark during growing season, which can possibly damage plants or crops.
