One man and two youth facing multiple charges in North Battleford

Three people wanted for various criminal offences have been arrested.

On Saturday, police watched a man wanted for serious firearms-related offences enter a vehicle and leave a home in North Battleford.

RCMP attempted a traffic stop for the vehicle, however, it began to speed up and flee. Officers pursued the vehicle that ended 10 kilometres west of North Battleford on Highway 16 after the vehicle struck a police vehicle.

Three suspects inside fled on foot, where they were arrested a short time later. Mounties found a loaded handgun a short distance from where the suspects were arrested.

The 24-year-old driver, along with a male and female youth are facing multiple charges. All three suspects were facing warrants at the time of the incident and have appeared in court.
