Lloydminster Bobcats hosting “Chase the Ace” at home games

People attending Lloydminster Bobcats games will now see a new activity where they can win $5000. The organization has partnered with Kinsmen Club to bring “Chase the Ace” during team home games.

People can buy a $10 ticket for a chance to win a draw prize, which is determined by how many tickets are sold that night. From the tickets sold 20 per cent go to the winner of the draw, 30 per cent goes into the ‘Ace pot’ and 50 per cent goes to the Bobcats and the Kinsmen Club.

The Bobcats organization is offering a guaranteed $5000 jackpot, which will see anyone who pulls the Ace from the deck win the money until the pot surpasses the $5000 mark.

The team will be selling tickets at every Bobcats home game this season and a draw will happen after the second intermission of each game. The lottery fundraiser will see proceeds go towards arena upgrades and operation costs for the hockey team.

The next chance to play is Saturday as the Bobcats take on the Drayton Valley Thunder at 7:30.
