Canada Day Festivities in Lloydminster

Canada Day is nearly upon us, and Lloydminster City Hall wants you to come out and celebrate. Residents are invited to the annual festivities at Bud Miller Park on Wednesday, July 1st. There will be an opening ceremony at 1pm, followed by live music, a farmers market, a car and bike show, hot-air balloon rides, food vendors, and other family activities. An outdoor concert will be held from 5:45 p.m. to 9 p.m. featuring performances by Clowbar, the Dirt Rich Band and the Township. The Fireworks Show will begin at 11 p.m. Gates open at 6 p.m. and parking is permitted in the Bud Miller All Seasons Park parking lots after 6 p.m. For more information, including a full list of the day’s events, please visit lloydminster.ca/canadaday.
Parking and Transportation
The main entrance to Bud Miller All Seasons Park will be closed for the day. Residents are encouraged to walk or bike to the event. Those arriving by vehicle are asked to use the Lakeland College entrance. A two-way shuttle service will be available from Servus Sports Centre from 12:30 p.m. to 6:15 p.m.
