Maidstone RCMP is reminding stores to inspect large bills to avoid counterfeits after a recent incident.
Police say on January 9th a man had paid for items at businesses in Maidstone, and North Battleford with counterfeit $100 bills. The 29 year-old man has been charged and will appear in a North Battleford Provincial court.
RCMP ask that anyone who is still in possession of one of these bills to contact their local RCMP detachment.
