Battlefords RCMP investigating careless discharge of a firearm

RCMP are still investigating after a complaint of property damage to a home caused by a firearm in Battleford on Sunday, January 27. When arriving at the home on the 300 block of 33 street, officers noticed damage on the home’s front window and door is consistent with the discharge from a small calibre firearm.

The property was searched, and no one was injured by the careless discharge of a firearm. Mounties say this took place in the early morning hours of January 27. Officers say this incident is isolated and there have been no other reports of complaints associated with it.
