Provost RCMP look for tire slashers

Provost RCMP are looking for the suspects in a tire slashing spree.

The RCMP say that some time between 10 p.m. on Thursday, August 6, and 8 a.m. on Friday, August 7, seven vehicles between Provost and Hughenden had their tires slashed, causing around $5,000 in damage. The police say they are currently following up on possible suspect vehicles.

If anyone has any information, they are asked to call Provost RCMP at (780) 753-2214 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS. Tips can also be submitted online at www.tipsubmit.com.
