Lloydminster woman arrested in connection with home invasion

A Lloydminster woman has been arrested in connection with a home invasion in Frog Lake. On Feburary 16, a home invasion in Frog Lake saw several items stolen. After an investigation, police identified two suspects.

On February 17, Elk Point RCMP alongside Cold Lake Police Dog Services (PDS) and Eastern Alberta District Rural Crime Reduction Unit (EADRCRU) arrested two suspects. Following the arrest, EADRCRU located the vehicle used in the robbery and found stolen property inside.

Police executed a search warrant with the assistance of Cold Lake PDS at a separate residence in Fishing Lake. Stolen property from the robbery was recovered including a TV, credit cards, personal identification, ammunition as well as property from other incidents.

Twenty-six-year-old Nicole Crookedneck of Lloydminster and 32-year-old Myles Lajimodiere of Fishing Lake have been charged with numerous offences, including robbery with a gun, breaking and entering, mischief and unauthorized possession of a gun.

Lajimodiere was remanded into custody after a judicial hearing and Crookedneck was released after a judicial hearing. Both of the accused are scheduled to appear in St. Paul Provincial Court on February 21.
