Four Onion Lake men arrested for uttering threats

Four Onion Lake men are in custody after making threats in someone’s home.

The RCMP say that late in the evening of Friday, August 14, they were notified of a possible hostage situation after threats were made at a home in Onion Lake. The RCMP went to the scene, and entered a car chase with a suspect vehicle that ended in Frenchman Butte.

18-year-old Garth Swiftwolfe, 25-year-old Curtis Littlewolfe, 21-year-old Joel Fox and 24-year-old Elijah Dillon face a number of charges, including flight from police, uttering threats, and assault with a weapon on a peace officer.

RCMP officers from Maidstone, Turtleford, Lloydminster, St. Whalburg, and North Battleford Police Dog Service also helped in the investigation. No police officers or suspects were injured.
