St. Walburg RCMP investigate crash

St. Walburg RCMP are investigating an accident that occurred in a construction zone.

The accident occurred in the evening on Wednesday, August 19, on Highway 3 north of Highway 26, when a truck rear-ended a car that had been stopped in a construction zone. The 17-year-old male flag-person and the 48-year-old female driver of the car were taken to the hospital. The 43-year-old male truck driver was uninjured.

The RCMP say that the roads were wet at the time of the crash, which may have contributed to the crash. They also say that no charges have been laid, and the investigation is ongoing.
