Lloyd Ex hosting 20th annual Tarp Sale

The Lloydminster Exhibition CPCA Chuckwagon Finals committee is announcing the 20th Annual Tarp Sale for the Denham’s Ram Tough 27 CPCA Finals. On April 2 at the Lloydminster Exhibition Stockade, bidders will have the chance to purchase a chuckwagon tarp.

There will be 24 wagon tarps for sale, which give exposure and publicity for the sponsors who place winning bids. Each sponsor will have their logo displayed in front of over 15,000 fans, receive VIP access for seating and parking. Marketing Manager for the LAEA, Jackie Tomayer, says it comes with a unique experience of meeting the chuckwagon drivers.

“Going back behind the barns, and having barbeques and get-togethers and things like that. IT’s not just coming to the race and watching it; it’s whole other things surrounding the relationship with your chuckwagon driver,” says Tomayer. Wagon Week takes place August 14-18.

Doors for the tarp sale open at 6 p.m. for a chance to meet the drivers. A complimentary supper will be served at 6:30 and the auction begins at 7 p.m.
