RCMP continues an investigation into a hit and run that occurred on Thursday evening in the Town of Battleford. Police responded to calls of a man lying injured on 29th street, which was revealed to be the result of being struck by a vehicle.
Emergency responders took the injured male to Battlefords Union Hospital where he is receiving treatment. RCMP says the driver has been tracked down and “dealt with” by police. Mounties want to assure residents that there is no security risk in the area where police remain on the scene as of Friday morning.
This collision is still under investigation. More information will be released as it comes in.
