Golf Fore the Cure postponed due to poor weather

The Lloydminster Golf and Curling Centre has postponed the second annual Golf Fore the Cure due to poor weather. The charity event sets a whole nine holes up to raise money for the fight against breast cancer. Last year’s event raised $5,000 for the cause with 80 golfers participating.

A later date for the charity tournament will be announced soon. This year, the event hopes to surpass its previous record. Since its inception in 2003, Golf Fore the Cure, presented by Subaru, has raised over $6.7 million for breast cancer research, with proceeds going to program partners Canadian Cancer Society and Quebec Breast Cancer Foundation.
