North Battleford murder suspects appear in court

Two men who are facing charges in relation to the death of a North Battleford man will make their second appearance in court at the end of July.

22-year-old Nicolas Buck and 47-year-old David Keller are facing charges in the death of 61-year-old Mark Douglas Jonson who was found dead in his North Battleford home on July 5.

Buck is facing ten charges including first-degree murder, while Keller faces a single charge of first-degree murder.

RCMP located 22-year-old Nicolas Buck on July 13 after officers issued a warrant for his arrest. Police arrested 47-year-old David Keller on July 11.

Both men appeared in court on July 15 and are remanded in custody until their next appearance. Keller and Buck will return in North Battleford Provincial Court on July 24 and 26, respectively.
