Lloydminster Hospital receives 1.2 million dolllars for upgrades

The Lloydminster Hospital was presented with a big cheque totalling 1.2 million dollars to help with various projects. The Lloydminster Region Health Foundation was able to hand that cheque over last night after fundraising through many events such as the Hartnell MacArthur Holtby Golf Classic held over the past three summers. LRHF’s Wendy Plandowski tells Goat News it’s great for the hometown hockey boys to come back to their communities and give back.

The money will go towards upgrades to the second floor of the hospital as well as a third operating room and enhancing the maternity area.
