Vermilion RCMP arrest and charge a 34-year-old from Lloydminster after a complaint from residents in Innisfree.
Police say after responding to reports of a suspicious male, officers showed up to a business where they discovered the man was driving a stolen truck. The 34-year-old resisted arrest and tried to run away. Mounties say while searching the man they found a concealed weapon, methamphetamine and cocaine.
Damien Mercer is facing seven charges including possession for the purpose of trafficking. He is to appear in La Biche Provincial Court on January 13th.
Police say as the matter is before the court, no additional information will be released.
