911 should not be abused and only used in emergency situations. That from lloydminster RCMP Corporal Grant Kirzinger. Kirzinger says too often people phone 911 for non emergency issues like trying to find out the number for a pizza place. Kirzinger tells Goat News people need to follow the proper protocol before phoning 911. He says 911 should only be used in the circumstances of accidents, or when there is an immediate need for police presence. Kirzinger says people phone 911 on a regular basis and use it is as 411, and this is completely unacceptable.
