A 33-year-old Onion Lake man is facing two charges in relation to a child pornography investigation.
On January 15, the ICE unit and Onion Lake RCMP searched a home in Onion Lake that was linked to a child pornography investigation. Child pornography was found and the computer, smart phones and digital storage devices were taken for further analysis.
The investigation began in June 2019 and looked into the online accessing of child pornography through file-sharing networks.
James Gaberiel Buffalo was arrested and charged with possession of child pornography and accessing child pornography.
He was released on several conditions and will appear in Onion Lake provincial court on February 19.
