UPDATE: Missing Meadow Lake man found safe

UPDATE: RCMP says Dean Petite has been found safe.

Turtleford RCMP is asking for the public’s help in finding a missing 39-year-old man.

Dean Petite from Meadow Lake was last heard from on February 23 around 6 p.m. He was having vehicle problems in Glaslyn and decided to walk towards Meadow Lake on Highway 4 north. He has not been heard from since.

Petite is 5 foot 11 inches tall, weighing 170 pounds with light brown hair and hazel eyes. Mounties say he may be wearing a camo jacket, black shoes, blue jeans and a blue Under Armour shirt.

The RCMP have performed searches and patrols along the highway but have not found him.

Anyone with information on Petite is asked to call Glaslyn RCMP at 306-845-4520 or 310-RCMP.
