Bonnyville RCMP conduct drug bust

Bonnyville RCMP have announced a drug bust.

Early in the morning of Monday, November 16, the RCMP searched a home in Bonnyville near the intersection of 45 Avenue and 41 A Street, seizing over 500 fentanyl pills, marijuana, drug paraphernalia, brass knuckles, and cash.

A 30-year-old man and a 28-year-old woman were arrested, and charged with possession of fentanyl for the purpose of trafficking, posession of marijuana and child endangerment. The man also faces additional charges of possession of cash obtained by crime, and possession of a prohibited weapon.

Their court date has not yet been set.
