Wilton winter weights back to primary Monday

Truckers travelling through the R.M of Wilton will have new weight limits to follow.

At 12:01 AM April 13th, the town will move back to Wilton Primary Weight, which is equivalent to Saskatchewan secondary weight.

Single axle weight limits will be at 8,200 kilograms, while tandem axle weight will be at 13,600 kilograms. Travel on roads with permanent weight restrictions is still allowed at the posted limits.

Vehicles moving above the posted weight, or needing a tri-steer permit must get approval from Northwest Municipal Services beforehand.

Drivers can find daily updates at the Northwest Road Permits website.
