Alberta reports 50 new cases of COVID-19

Alberta is reporting 50 new cases of COVID-19 in the past 24 hours bringing the total up to 1,423.

Three more deaths have also been announced in the Calgary zone increasing the total number of deaths to 29.

The province is considering 865 of the total to be active cases and 519 of them as recovered.

In the Central zone, six more cases have been found for a total of 72.

No active cases are listed in the County of Vermilion River or Lloydminster as both cases have recovered.

68,000 tests have been conducted with 6,399 of them in the Central zone.
