Lloyd Exh shines Easter spirit through COVID pandemic

The Lloydminster Exhibition Association spent the weekend helping residents share in Easter dinner.

With many people were cancelling their holiday meals with family or feeling unsafe to go to the grocery store for fear of getting sick, the Exh decided to get their staff together and began making traditional meals.

Lloydminster quickly jumped on board, ordering over 300 meals for themselves and family they couldn’t visit. The Exh even fielded orders from a Calgary woman who was making sure her mother, who lives in a Lloydminster seniors facility, could enjoy a festive dinner.

The Association says that despite some extra challenges, they were able to cleanly and safely meet the demand. They also provided nine meals to RCMP on-duty officers.

The Exh says they were proud to undertake this initiative and is thanking all of their staff and patrons for making it happen.
