Two new COVID-19 cases in Saskatchewan; North Zone numbers remain the same

There are two new cases of COVID-19 in Saskatchewan, while recoveries have not increased in the last 24 hours.

The Saskatchewan Government’s latest update shows one confirmed case and one presumptive. This puts active cases at 77 out of 315 reported. Recoveries remain at 234.

In the North Zone, housing Lloydminster and the surrounding area, numbers have also remained static in the last day, standing at seven active cases and 51 recoveries.

Of the 315 cases in the province, 134 cases are travel-related, 132 are contact or mass gathering transmissions, 29 have no known exposures and 20 are being investigated by local public health.

So far, 23,909 COVID-19 tests have been performed province-wide, with 22,448 negative results.
