UPDATE: Missing woman found safe

UPDATE: The Lloydminster RCMP says Shaunita Chief has been safely located.

Lloydminster RCMP is asking for the public’s assistance finding 19-year-old Shaunita Chief.

She was last seen in Lloydminster on April 23rd, and efforts the thus far to find her have been unsuccessful.  Chief has ties to Lloydminster and Onion Lake Cree Nation.

She is described as Indigenous, 5’7”, 141 pounds with black hair and brown eyes. RCMP do not have a photo available at this time.

The Lloydminster RCMP are concerned for her well being. Anyone with information is asked to contact Lloydminster’s RCMP detachment or CrimeStoppers.
