Cold Lake RCMP arrest three for drug dealing

Cold Lake RCMP have announced a drug bust.

Late in the morning of Friday, November 27, the RCMP say they searched a home in Cold Lake South, finding over 2 ounces of crack cocaine, marijuana, cash, as well as a loaded handgun and sawed-off shotgun, both of which they say were improperly stored. The handgun had also been stolen.

29-year-old Feysal Farah, 26-year-old Abdulahi Shakib, and 24-year-old Marissa Assali were arrested and face a litany of charges, including possession of cocaine for the purpose of trafficking, unauthorized possession of a firearm, and possession of the proceeds of crime.

All three will appear in court Wednesday, December 9.
