LCHS’ Rudolph Roundup a success

The Lloydminster Comprehensive High School’s had a successful Rudolph Roundup.

The Rudolph Roundup is a fundraiser to help families of the Interval Home: a safe haven for families fleeing abuse. The fundraiser has been running for the past month and involves students, their teachers, and the community donating money as well as both Christmas gifts and necessities, such as toiletries.

This year the Rudolph Roundup was organized by grade 12 student, Ayla Chipman.

“For Pie in the Face we made almost $500.00 alone…Loose Change we had a few hundred dollars, we had several companies take it upon themselves to adopt a family. So a lot of money and a lot of items were raised for the Interval Home… Way better than what we were expecting. It’s been incredible how well the Rudolph Roundup has gone this year,” says Chipman.

In total, enough money and gift donations were collected to support almost 160 families.
