UPDATE: RCMP re-open area of HWY16 after search warrant executed

UPDATE 10:23 AM: This area has re-opened, but residents are still advised to watch for increased police presence, pay attention to warnings from officers, and use a detour when necessary.

The Saskatchewan RCMP is temporarily blocking off a portion of Highway 16 at the 400 block in Lloydminster.

A search warrant is being conducted at a home there, and both sides of the highway will be closed for an undetermined amount of time, and traffic rerouted.
