Illegal hunting supected in death of horse near Senlac

Unity RCMP suspect illegal hunting may have been the reason that a horse was shot at a property near Senlac.

On September 6th, police were called by a property owner, who claimed one of his horses had been shot. The officer on the scene later confirmed this. The horse was on private land, and the RCMP says illegal hunting is suspected in this situation.

There are no suspects at this time, and the investigation is ongoing. The RCMP is asking people to remain vigilant, and report any suspicious vehicles, anyone trespassing on private land or hunting out of season.
