Three arrested in North Battleford drug investigation

Three North Battleford residents were arrested following a two-month long drug investigation.

The Saskatchewan RCMP Crime Reduction Team executed three searches for a residence, vehicle and hotel room in North Battleford on September 20th. Three people were arrested and officers seized one ounce of cocaine, small amounts of methamphetamine and hydromorphone and several prohibited weapons.

Forty-year-old Kyle Caron, 48-year-old Dean Lafreniere and 31-year-old Amanda Wahobin were charged drug possession, drug trafficking and weapons offences. Wahobin was also wanted on warrants for property offences, possession of crystal meth and failure to appear in court at the time of her arrest.

All three were released from custody and are scheduled to appear in North Battleford Provincial Court on November 9th.
