Lloydminster RCMP charge woman for fraud

An Edmonton woman is facing fraud and drug charges after trying to cash a stolen cheque at a Lloydminster business.

Lloydminster RCMP were called to a business on 50th Avenue on October 21st and arrested the woman who witnesses identified as being associated to the fraud. Mounties searched the woman and found 22 grams of individually packed substances which they suspect to be cocaine.

Twenty-four year-old Jade Lonesinger was charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking, using a forged document, making a false document, fraud and possession of property obtained by crime. She was released and will appear in Lloydminster Alberta Provincial Court on November 17th.
