Lloydminster residents will have to cast their votes in-person on Monday.
The City has cancelled the drive-thru polling option due to the current snowy weather conditions. Returning Officer Doug Rodwell says he “cannot in good faith risk the health and safety of voters and election staff or the integrity of the ballot.”
Another in-person polling station will be set up at City Hall from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Residents can also cast their vote at polling stations located at the Servus Sports Centre or the Lloydminster Agricultural Exhibition Association.
