County of Vermilion River road bans start on Friday

The County of Vermilion River is issuing a road ban starting this Friday. The ban is put in place to help protect and preserve public safety and infrastructure.

The duration of the ban is unknown. Starting at 12:01 p.m. on March 19, the following oil surfaced roads will be banned at 75 per cent of axle weight:

  • RR 11 from TWP 502 to 503
  • RR 12 from TWP 504 to 502
  • RR 13 from Highway 16 to Rolling Greens
  • RR 20 from Highway 619 to TWP 474
  • RR 20 from Highway 16 to Highway 619
  • RR 20 from within the Hamlet of McLaughlin and all roads within
  • RR 21 from Highway 16 to Blackfoot
  • RR 23 from Highway 16 to TWP 500
  • RR 43 from Dewberry to TWP 530
  • RR 53 from Highway 45 to TWP 542
  • RR 55 from TWP 522 to 532
  • RR 55 from TWP 542 to Highway 45
  • RR 64 from TWP 512 to Cloverview Estates
  • RR 64A from TWP 512 to 1.5 miles south
  • TWP 474 from Highway 897 to RR 41
  • TWP 480 from Highway 41 to RR 62
  • TWP 494 from Highway 897 to RR 12
  • TWP 500 form Highway 41 to RR 71
  • TWP 501 from Highway 41 to RR 71
  • TWP 504 from RR 14 to 12
  • TWP 511 from RR 73 to Highway 41
  • TWP 512 from RR 64 to 64A
  • TWP 514 from Highway 17 to RR 13
  • TWP 532 from Highway 41 to RR 55
  • TWP 532 from RR 50 to Highway 893
  • TWP 542 from RR 50 to Highway 897
