Saskatchewan to lower vaccine age range again Friday

The Saskatchewan Health Authority will be lowering the age limit for COVID-19 vaccines again tomorrow.

Effective at 8AM on April 16th, people aged 48 and above, including all of those in Lloydminster, can book their time to get vaccinated. They have the option to book it online, which is available 24/7, or to call ahead at 1-833-SASKVAX.

Other groups have not changed, with individuals 40 years and older living in the Northern Saskatchewan Administration District, all remaining phase one health care workers, and people with underlying health conditions who are clinically extremely vulnerable remaining eligible currently.

The age range of 48 to 54 is set to be the next one to get their shot at drive thrus or walk-ins, starting Friday as well.

None of these clinics are set to open in Lloydminster tomorrow however, the SHA notes.
