Lloydminster to host provincial synchronized swim tournament

Local synchronized swim team have made a successful bid for the 2016 Marnie Eistetter Figure Meet.

Lloydminster & Border City Stingrays will host individuals and fellow swim teams from across Saskatchewan for the competition.

Head coach of the team, Jill Roy, lead the bidding process and says, “It will be a great weekend bringing in over 150 athletes from across Saskatchewan.”

The meet is set to start Friday, November 18th, 2016 through to the 20th and will feature a banquet and Athlete Development Camp in addition to the meet.

Lloydminster residents and businesses are encouraged to consider sponsorship and volunteer opportunities (which will be announced closer to the date).
