Rotary Club opens call for presenters

The Rotary Club of Lloydminster wants to hear from you.

The group has opened up a call for speakers. In a new effort to gather suggestions on interesting topics of discussion and bring in different presenters, the Rotary Club is reaching out to the public. There is an invited guest speaker at each Rotary meeting who makes a presentation to the membership about an upcoming event, local organization, or just a topic of interest.

“Although we are a service club, the topics certainly do not have to revolve around charities, nor social/humanitarian causes; it can be about anything, a local business, personal hobby, or an interesting life experience; the more diverse, the better,” says Lloydminster Rotary Club’s incoming President, Jason Whiting.

If you have something you’d like to share with the local Rotary Club, or know of someone with an interesting story, contact the Rotary Club for more details. Email Jason Whiting at [email protected]; Find the group on Facebook or tweet them @LloydRotary
