Lloyd Rescue Squad to host 2nd annual fundraiser gala

Lloydminster Rescue Squad has announced there will be a 2nd annual Siren and Sapphires Gala this year.

The event will once again feature celebrity auctioneer, Danny Hooper, and the band Ten Souljers. Funds from the event this year will go towards purchasing new equipment: battery-operated Jaws of Life and cutters and a drone with thermal imaging capability.

As well, for this year’s fundraiser Gala, one lucky winner will drive away with a 2016 Polaris General and a second prize is yet to be announced.

The 2016 Sirens and Sapphires Gala will take place Saturday, October 15th.
