Lloydminster officers to hand out positive tickets over Summer

No good deed will go unrewarded this Summer.

Lloydminster RCMP and Lloydminster Peace Officers will have a vigilant eye for youngsters bent on doing that extra good deed in the community. Kids will be rewarded for their efforts with Positive Tickets from Law enforcement.

Joining the good deed coalition will be Beyond Borders Circle of Change and the Lloydminster & District Co-op.

As a top up, kids will also get a Co-op voucher for a free Co-op Big Cool or Co-op ice cream cone to recognize and fully note their positive acts. Vouchers are redeemable at all four Lloydminster Co-op gas bars.

The Lloydminster RCMP are also giving a Border City shout-out to Beyond Borders Circle of Change. They say the group is working to build a culture of a safe and caring community. The collective includes representation from Lloydminster Public School Division, Lloydminster Catholic School Division, Saskatchewan Health Authority, Alberta Health Services, MHCB SHINE, Lloydminster Community Youth Centre, Lloydminster Sexual Assault Services and the Canadian Red Cross.

Gerry has lived in Lloydminster since winter 2010. That detail is important as coming from the Caribbean he did not see green grass until May. Now an Alberta/Western Canada resident, you would be hard-pressed to find a stronger proponent of Lloydminster than the news guy that appreciates a healthy dose of rock music and dress code leather. His mantra is focus on one thing and do it well.
