Telus is advising that its subscribers in East Central Alberta which includes Lloydminster and area could be affected by a service disruption today.
This has come about as a communications line was cut in the area resulting in the failure of several Telus services including landline, wireless voice, internet and TV.
They are advising that in the event of an emergency subscribers will not be able to call for help.
There is no timeline on when repairs will be completed.
